Mounting, Fastening & Small Hardware
These small fittings support the main product by attaching layers, reinforcing holes, protecting corners or finishing an edge. They commonly appear on bags, shoes, packaging and sewn goods. Start with the fixing action and stack of materials, then compare the visible shape.
Eyelet
Section titled “Eyelet”A hollow ring with a setting leg or barrel. Select it according to the hole size and host-material thickness.
A decorative head with a mating post or base, set by pressure. Confirm the grip range and backing.
Nipple stud
Section titled “Nipple stud”A rounded head with a neck and screw or base. Check the thread, projection and mating part.
Washer
Section titled “Washer”A flat spacer—round or otherwise shaped—with a central hole. Select it according to the load-spreading and finish requirements.
Corner protector
Section titled “Corner protector”A three-sided piece that wraps around an external corner. Confirm the corner radius and fixing points.
End clamp
Section titled “End clamp”A U- or C-shaped clamp for a strap end. Select it according to the strap thickness and closure method.
Bridge fitting
Section titled “Bridge fitting”Arched fitting with a base and mounting points. Specify load direction and hole positions.
Nail or stud
Section titled “Nail or stud”Small decorative or fixing item with a head and a leg, prong or screw. Inspect the rear fixing.
Dumbbell fitting
Section titled “Dumbbell fitting”A one-piece connector with enlarged ends and a narrow centre. Define the mounting method and load path.
Zipper puller
Section titled “Zipper puller”A slider body that runs along zipper teeth and holds a pull tab. Match it to the zipper system.
Choosing a small fitting

Match the hole, material thickness, fixing method and required tool or assembly step. Eyelets and rivets are commonly used on bags, shoes, packaging and sewn goods.
Easy mix-ups
